To say Jon and Kate Gosselin had a volatile marriage is putting things mildly. The parents-of-eight have been in constant contention since splitting in 2009, arguing over how to raise their twin daughters and sextuplets.
While Kate has retained primary custody, her ex — much to his chagrin — has been completely estranged from most of his children as a result.Now, the parents are at each other’s throats again as they wrestle over one of their kids in their most explosive fight yet!
Despite splitting in 2009, Jon and Kate Gosselin are still very much at odds with each other. Case in point: Their latest fight over one of their eight children.
Police were called to settle a dispute between the Jon & Kate Plus 8 pair in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania Tuesday, August 22, when the parents had an explosive argument outside of a local orthodontist office. According to reports, Jon and Kate were caught fighting for their teenage daughter, who refused to leave her dad’s side during the heated exchange.
“The call came in at 1:10 this afternoon for a verbal domestic argument … over the custody of one of their 13-year-old daughters,” a rep from the Wyomissing Police Department said. “No one was arrested and the daughter did go home with the father after she expressed that was her desire to do.”
“There was a fairly lengthy argument as far as both parents had conflicting versions of a child custody agreement,” the spokesperson added.
“Basically, both stated something different and we referred the matter over to our county district attorney. The district attorney then reviewed it and … the district attorney’s words were that the order was sufficiently vague to interpret who was supposed to actually have custody today. Both parents read their version of the order and thought they should have had custody of the child today.
