Marvel has finally revealed the first trailer for their anticipated Inhumans series, and the reactions have been…well…mixed.
Actually, mixed is being kind, but there are voices out there that enjoyed the first footage, and most of that centered on two specific characters.
As you can imagine, one of those happens to be Lockjaw, and showrunner Scott Buck knew he was going to be a fan favorite from the start.“Lockjaw is probably going to end up being the audience’s favorite character,” Buck told EW. “We certainly enjoy working with him. He’s fun to write, he’s fun to shoot. There’s not too much more detail than that that I can give, but he is going to be a standout on the show.”
Iwan Rheon was also a high point, with many hoping he can turn Maximus into a compelling character. That said, there were more lows pointed out than highs, running the gamut from Medusa’s hair to the trailer’s lack of action and intensity, something exemplified by the final scene.
