Cotton was a stray cat in Florida who suffered from a bad case of mange. The mites were in his eyes, which were infected so badly he couldn’t open them. He had grown very skinny by the time he was taken in by Carmen Morales, founder of the Animals Friends Project. She took Cotton into her home and quarantined him in the bathroom while he underwent treatment.
