Things have changed for Celine Dion. It was only three years ago that the Grammy Award-winning singer lost her husband. Now she is about to wrap up a long residency at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas and has decided to hit the road. That is what she said during a concert at Los Angeles’ Theatre at the Ace Hotel when she announced a brand new album and a new concert tour she is calling the Courage World Tour, after the single off the new album. The singer said the title Courage was inspired by the 2016 death of her husband and manager Rene Angelil.
This is the first trek in a decade and Celine will be hitting many major cities in both Canada and the U.S. The tour will begin in her home province with two shows in Quebec City (September 18 and 20), and then two shows in Montreal at the Bell Center (September 26 and 27). The tour will make its way to the U.
S. where she will play concerts in cities across the whole of America, from Boston and Atlantic City to Denver and Los Angeles and many cities in between. The Courage Tour will end up in Winnipeg on April 27th, 2020 at the Bell MTS Place where she will perform her final show of the tour.Tickets for Dion’s Courage Tour dates go on sale Friday, April 12.
