WWE appear to have axed their Saudi Arabia pay-per-view show Crown Jewel.
The wrestling brand enjoyed a successful show in the country in April when they held the Greatest Royal Rumble at King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah.
The follow-up – as part of a 10-year partnership between WWE and the Saudi General Sports Authority – was pencilled in for November 2
But WWE faced calls to cancel the event following the disappearance of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
The Saudi national and US resident was last seen entering the Saudi consulate in Istanbul last week.
Turkish authorities claim he was murdered by Saudi agents, allegations that have been denied. Riyadh state Khashoggi left the consulate shortly after he arrived.
