Kris Jenner’s Responses To Kylie’s Pregnancy Rumors Show Respect For Her Daughter’s Own Possible Announcement

The world was collectively surprised and quickly became obsessed with the reports and rumors that entrepreneur and reality star Kylie Jenner might be expecting a child with boyfriend Travis Scott on Friday, Sept.

22. Although the 20-year-old has spoken numerous times about wanting to start a family at a young age, Kylie’s reported pregnancy just seemed like the last thing anyone was expecting to hear on a Friday afternoon. Just as we were all still digesting the unexpected news, Kylie’s mom Kris Jenner addressed the pregnancy rumors to multiple outlets at Milan Fashion Week, but neither confirmed nor denied them. It was a curious move on Kris’s part, but perhaps she’s intentionally not saying anything specific so that Kylie can make her own official announcement, if she is in fact pregnant. (Kylie’s reps could not be reached by Bustle. Bustle also reached out to Scott’s rep, but did not receive an immediate response.)

Kris attended the Bottega Veneta show on Saturday, Sept. 23, according to The Hollywood Reporter. And before you start asking why she was there, Kylie’s sister Kendall Jenner was actually walking in the show, which was showcasing a collection by designer Tomas Maier. Additionally, Kris claims to be a big fan of the brand, so it stands to reason that her appearance has nothing to do with the pregnancy rumors.
