This story reminds me of one of the funniest headlines I think I’ve ever seen from The Onion. We’re all so attached to our phones at this point that a little bit of panic sets in when you can’t find your phone, or you drop it in a toilet. It’s almost like an extra appendage at this point.
I’m not sure if that’s good or bad, but it is what it is.Liz Bertorelli of Toronto, the unlucky lady in this tale, certainly understands cellular separation anxiety. Seems she accidentally dropped her phone on a neighbor’s balcony below.
She could not get in touch with her downstairs neighbors, so for two excruciatingly long days, Bertorelli watched helplessly as her beloved phone braved the conditions.
