Lots of phones will be announced at Mobile World Congress this week — Samsung’s Galaxy S9 is the biggest one — but none of them come with a battery that could last up to five days on a single charge like the Energizer Power Max P16K Pro.
That’s right, the P16K Pro has over five times the battery capacity of the Galaxy S9 or iPhone X.
Some people value processing power, or a larger screen, or a better camera, but I think we can all agree that we want our phones to last longer.
That’s where the P16K Pro comes in with its whopping 16,000 mAh battery. By comparison, the Galaxy S9 has a 3,000 mAh battery and the iPhone X has a 2,716 mAh battery.
Both of these phones typically last “all day” and need to be plugged in at night, but not the P16K Pro. Depending on your usage, you might only need to plug it in every five days, according to an Energizer rep. If you use your phone less, you’ll see even longer battery life. The company says it’ll have up to something like 40 days of standby time.
Of course, the trade-off with a phone with such a massive battery is thickness. As you can see in some of these photos, the P16K Pro is an absolute clunker. It’s about twice as thick as an iPhone.
