A cat named Rubble from Exeter, England may very well be the oldest living cat on Earth.

Rubble recently celebrated his 30th birthday with his owner, Michele Foster, who’s had Rubble since she received him as a gift for her 20th birthday in 1988. When asked about the secret to Rubble’s old age, Foster attributes it to the fact that she pampers her furry friend as if he were her own child.

According to Guinness World Records, the oldest cat to have ever lived was named Creme Puff. Born on August 3, 1967 and died on August 6, 2005, Creme Puff lived for a whopping 38 years and three days! Based on how Rubble is doing, we could very well see him breaking that record.
