For the past seven months, Trenton Lewis walked 11 miles every day for work. The 21-year-old from Little Rock, Arkansas, left at midnight to get to his 4 a.m shift at UPS on time.
He never missed a day. He was never late.
Lewis never told anyone that he didn’t have a car. He’s never been one for excuses — especially when it comes to providing for his 14-month-old daughter.
“I wanted to be with my daughter, to be able to support her. I wanted to be a father,” Lewis told Arkansas Matters.
“My pride is strong. Whatever she needs, I’m the person who is supposed to provide it for her.”
But his UPS coworkers eventually…
