Glu Mobile announced Darla Anderson, Oscar award-winning producer of Pixar’s animated film Coco, has joined the mobile game publisher’s board of directors.
Anderson was a 25-year veteran of Pixar Animation Studios, and she recently signed a development and production deal with Netflix.
Her appointment comes at a time when (the lack of) female representation on the boards and executive ranks of tech and game companies is garnering more attention.Glu makes female-focused games such as Covet Fashion and Design Home, while Anderson brings the perspective of a proven track record in successfully producing high-caliber entertainment
projects.
