One Ontarian has gotten away with life and limb after stumbling upon a live artillery shell in the most unexpected place.
Last Tuesday, on garbage day, Danny Vellow was heading to a doctor’s appointment in the southwestern city of London.
He hopped the fence in his backyard, and landed on what looked like a giant bullet, next to a full trash bag.“Lo and behold, I almost stepped on the bomb. I was like, ‘Holy heck, eh?” Vellow told CBC.
He dialed 911, reported the discovery, and a police officer arrived…
