The state health department has confirmed a case of travel-related measles in Oakland County, and is warning of several potential exposure spots in Southeast Michigan.
The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services reports in a news release that the case comes after “visiting from Israel following a stay in New York.
” People may have been exposed to measles at Lincoln Liquor and RX in Oak Park from 12:20 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. on March 8, and at Jerusalem Pizza in Southfield from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. om March 12 and 13.“Individuals who were possibly exposed are advised to watch for symptoms 21 days after exposure,” the state health department warns in the release.
