It seemed that everyone and their mother met Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War – but one person who didn’t was Rocket Raccoon.
Rocket has become of the most beloved characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and it’s easy to forget that he’s actually a bit of a slippery snake, out for one person only – himself.
(Case in point, he left the Guardians in a heartbeat when Thor asked him to join him on his quest.)
In the film, Star-Lord himself calls Rocket out on his decision to leave the gang and take off with Thor, suggesting he is only doing so to avoid facing Thanos and later, when Thanos attacks Earth, only Thor and Groot arrived to help Captain America and co in Wakanda, seemingly leaving Rocket behind.
