SALT LAKE CITY —
Authorities say three people have been arrested in connection with the death of a Utah real estate agent.
Salt Lake City police believe 40-year-old David Stokoe was fatally shot while trying to evict tenants from an apartment over a rent dispute.
They say Stokoe’s body was found Friday in a hidden area of the apartment he owned and his car was found the next day in West Valley City.
The Salt Lake City Tribune reports police believe Stokoe was killed Thursday when he visited the apartment. He was reported missing about that time and police got involved after discovering evidence that made them “very concerned” about his well-being.
