64-year-old actor Gary Sinise is most widely known for his iconic role in Forrest Gump as Lieutenant Dan – but to thousands of veterans across the country, he is much more than that.
Ever since the Hollywood star launched the Gary Sinise Foundation in 2011, the charity has spearheaded dozens of initiatives to benefit American veterans.
