Miley Cyrus’ life was made on Wednesday’s Tonight Show.
The Younger Now singer rounded out a “Thank-You Notes” segment in which Jimmy Fallon’s writers penned appreciations for Hillary Clinton, the evening’s guest, and read them to her onstage.
One writer even vowed to be there for the former presidential candidate “with a gallon of ice cream and two spoons to tell you, ‘Girl, you are so much better than him.'”

Cyrus, who knocked on doors for Clinton in October, got choked up after just a couple of words. “Thank you, Hillary, for being a constant beacon of strength, hope and determination for me and millions of other young women,” she said, sniffling. “You’ve been a role model and an inspiration and a voice of reason in uncertain times.”
Cyrus said, while she “could go on and on,” she really just wanted a hug. Clinton agreed and embraced the 24-year-old, moving her to tears.
Then, the former Secretary of State asked to take a turn at thank-you-note writing.
