Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s brood is about to expand.
The couple’s surrogate, reportedly a San Diego woman in her late 20s, is three months pregnant, meaning baby No. 3 is set to join the family next January, according to Us Weekly.
The reality TV star and her rapper husband are already parents to North, 4, and Saint, 19 months, but Kardashian has long expressed interest in having more children.
Reports broke in June that the couple would opt for a surrogate to welcome their next child, as a third pregnancy for Kardashian could pose serious health risks.
She was previously diagnosed with placenta accreta, a potentially life-threatening condition that occurs when parts of the placenta grow too deep within the uterine wall, running the risk of severe blood loss after delivery.
