Naomi Watts has landed the lead role in the forthcoming Game Of Thrones prequel, which is set to be titled The Long Night.
The actress, 50, was announced as the main character in the HBO fantasy series on Tuesday, with author George R. R. Martin taking to Twitter to share his joy at her casting.
In doing so, the Game Of Thrones creator sent his 1.1 million followers wild by revealing the new spin-off is set to be called The Long Night.
