HomePod, Apple’s smart speaker, could get new phone features this year, allowing you to initiate phone calls.
Right now users can transfer an iPhone call to HomePod, but initiating the call using Siri isn’t possible. French site iGeneration is reporting this might change; if the report is accurate the feature will roll out alongside iOS 12 later this year.
