Tennis elbow is a commonly-used term for pain in the tendons at the back of the elbow and is often caused by repetitive strain.

Although the condition can be painful, it’s usually not too serious. Fortunately, tennis elbow may get better on its own as long as you don’t do anything to worsen the injury.
