Bill Nye may come on television to teach the world about science but now he is heading to the courts to sue Disney and other subsidiaries for not getting his fair share of profits. The Walt Disney Company showed Nye’s series “Bill Nye the Science Guy” and gained many profits from the show.
Nye’s lawsuit is asking for $37 million. According to the lawsuit, Nye received a check for $585,000 as his share of the profits but later was told the math was wrong and that he owed Buena Vista TV almost $500,000. The host of the science show also claims he stopped receiving payments in July 2008.Media: WochIt Media
