The former ‘Roseanne’ star shared her unfiltered thoughts on Hollywood stars showing support for the filmmaker after he was fired by Disney’s Marvel for past controversial tweets.
Roseanne Barr on Tuesday took to Twitter to weigh in on Hollywood’s support for Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn, who was fired last week by Disney’s Marvel for controversial tweets that recently resurfaced.

On Friday, Gunn was terminated by Walt Disney Studios after conservative personalities resurfaced old tweets in which the filmmaker joked about controversial topics such as pedophilia and rape.
Back in May, Barr — an avowed Donald Trump supporter — posted a racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett in which she compared the black former Barack Obama aide to an “ape.” Her remark was met with swift action from ABC: Though Barr’s Roseanne reboot had outstanding ratings, the network canceled it after just one season.
