WWE Raw has officially pulled a Big Show with Braun Strowman, turning “The Monster Among Men” babyface again not even three months after he turned heel.

The running joke about “The World’s Largest Athlete,” who turned heel on SmackDown 1000, is that it was only fitting that a man who seems to have moved to the dark side about a thousand times did so for the 1,000th time on the blue brand’s historic 1,000th episode.

At the time of his unexpected and certainly questionable heel turn, Strowman was, along with Seth Rollins, probably the most popular star on Raw. Not only had Strowman become one of WWE’s biggest draws, but he had solidified himself as one of its top merchandise sellers as well, representing exactly what WWE fans wanted to see: A hard-working, quickly improving superstar with the “it factor” who could carry Raw as its top champion.

The widespread belief was that Lesnar came back for Crown Jewel purely because of the hefty payday and likely wouldn’t be figured into any immediate future storylines.
But boy oh boy, how wrong we were. The same fans who never truly accepted Strowman’s forced heel turn, despite his association with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre or his attempts to generate heat by criticizing the WWE Universe, just couldn’t accept the outcome of Strowman and Lesnar’s Universal title match.F5 after F5 after F5, and three minutes later,…
