Talk about bad timing: Hours before Jennifer Lopez hit the launch party Wednesday night for her new Guess ad campaign, the company’s former star brand ambassador Kate Upton accused co-founder Paul Marciano of sexual abuse of multiple models, TMZ reported.

Upton’s allegations came several hours before the website The Blast reported that two other models had accused Marciano of harassing and groping them in 2009 and 2016, respectively.
Lopez and her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez were seen schmoozing with Marciano at Guess headquarters in Los Angeles Wednesday night, TMZ said.
The singer and actress was either hosting the party or was guest of honor because of her new Spring 2018 campaign for the clothing powerhouse, according to TMZ and the Daily Mail. The Moroccan-born Marciano founded with his brother in 1981. Marciano, formerly the Guess co-CEO, currently serves as the chief creative officer.
Upton modeled for the company in 2012, and the brand made her famous, according to E! News. But on Wednesday afternoon, the “Sports Illustrated” cover model posted a tweet that alluded to allegations of sexual impropriety by Marciano.
