So many people have had a relationship with Little Debbie for 50-some years, when you start talking about breaking off with her the parting is more than sweet sorrow. It turns into a Twitter tsunami.
With just one image and four ominous words — “One gotta go forever” — the Tennessee-based cake and cookie company sparked a snack debate on Twitter.

Little Debbie’s post pictured four of its items — the Christmas Tree Cake, Nutty Buddy, Oatmeal Creme Pies and HoneyBuns — and the wording seemed to suggest one of the sweets was going to be dropped. The hashtag #OneGottaGo started trending.
The company, founded in the 1960s and owned by McKee Food Corporation, naturally is basking in the free publicity.
Hint: Clearly, Christmas Tree Cake is not designed to last beyond the season. Is that the one you’d live without if you had to?
