One of the more divisive aspects of Bird Box, Netflix’s latest horror film and a veritable meme factory, is the fact that we never get to find out much about the creatures that invade earth at the start of the film, forcing any human being who lays eyes on them to instantly commit suicide in grisly fashion — not even what they look like, or where they came from. For horror fans who prefer a more concrete ending (or plot in general, let’s be real), Bird Box wraps up on a pretty frustrating note.
