A commuter on the NYC subway captured a touching moment between two complete strangers.

Denise Wilson was on her way home from work when she noticed a man, Corey Simmons, looking at math problems inside of a folder. A few stops later a passenger sat down next to Simmons and started a friendly conversation.
“The guy next to him sat down and asked him what he’s studying, ‘you look a little confused maybe I can help,'” Wilson recalled.
