Despite being one of the best-selling recording artists of all time, Barbra Streisand has crippling stage fright.
During an appearance on “Carpool Karaoke” Thursday, the singer revealed to “The Late, Late Show” host James Corden that she gets “scared” performing in front of fans.
“There was a moment you didn’t perform for, like, 27 years and that was because of stage fright,” Corden said. “So, do you still get nervous now?”
Streisand, 76, admitted she doesn’t get as nervous anymore, but said: “I don’t enjoy it. … I just don’t want to disappoint people.” Streisand added that before hitting the stage, she repeats the mantra, “Let go let God” to calm her nerves.
