Crossbreeds of animals have existed for a long time – think of the liger or the mule. But a rare paring, or “hook-up”, if you will, in Britain created only the second zonkey the world has ever seen. Everyone say welcome to Zippy the zonkey, a cross between a donkey and a zebra.
