Kim Kardashian West shared the extent of how 2016’s armed robbery in Paris greatly impacted her, Sunday on “The Alec Baldwin Show.”
“My life has definitely changed a lot in the last two years from that experience and just wanting more privacy,” Kardashian West told the man who portrayed Trump opposite Chris Redd’s Kanye West in a “Saturday Night Live” skit last week.
“In the last three months, I feel like I’ve come out of my shell a little bit more, back to who I was,” the reality star shared.
“I felt, like for a good year, I almost lost myself.”In October 2016, when Kardashian West was in Paris for Fashion Week, gun-toting men dressed as police officers, wearing masks, forced their way inside of where she was staying, tied her up, gagged her and threatened her while demanding her jewelry. The thieves escaped with a jewelry box containing more than $10 million in bling, including a $4.5 million 20-carat diamond ring she had just received from West.
Kardashian West, 38, said while she wasn’t “depressed,” she lacked motivation “to get up and work like I used to.”
“It shook me,” she informed her host.
Kardashian West shared she felt somewhat responsible to a certain degree.
