He fronted five bands in total, including the iconic Stone Temple Pilots. We will forever miss his howl and his chameleonic influence. Linkin Park has always been a band dedicated to bridging the gap between genres, showing us that dance and hip-hop can bang just as hard as any metal tune, and that crunching guitars can be just as funky as synths and bass.
