What will happen in Game of Thrones season 8?
Game of Thrones airs on HBO in America and on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV in the UK and Ireland.
Nothing has been revealed about the final season of Game of Thrones with fans being pretty much left in the dark.
However, Game of Thrones home channel HBO recently released a promo trailer for their up and coming shows causing fans to speculate what will happen next.
The trailer featured Game of Thrones, Barry, Big Little Lies, True Detective and more.
Most of the footage featured scenes from season seven.
Jon Snow (played by Kit Harrington) asks Daenerys (Emila Clarke): “What happens now?” and she responds: “something extraordinary”.
Fans are certain there will be one final battle between light and dark as Daenerys and Jon Snow fight the Night King (Vladimir Furdik).
Clips from the trailer show intense battle scenes featuring Deanery’s dragons.
A voice is then heard saying: “there is only one war that matters” to which Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey) responds “We will face it together”.
Cersi in season eight will be trying to keep control of King’s landing and her seat on The Iron Throne by betraying Daenerys and Jon Snow despite the imminent attack from the Night King and the White Walkers.
