Syracuse honored Jorge Jimenez, the 51-year-old man who was killed on a highway by a Jim Boeheim-driven vehicle earlier this week, before the Orange’s home game against No. 1 Duke.

A stone-faced Boeheim entered the Carrier Dome to a standing ovation and was eventually embraced with a warm hug by his friend and opposing coach, Mike Krzyzewski. Once the 74-year-old coach took in the applause, he began to squint with emotion. Boeheim’s wife, Juli,
