There can be just one king of San Diego Comic-Con, and his name is T’Challa.
A first trailer was released to the public in June, which garnered positive reaction from seemingly every corner of the internet. But the new reel, an extended scene coupled with a showreel shown Saturday was even more action-packed, all set to Kendrick Lamar’s “DNA”.
Chadwick Boseman is seen Black Panther, the warrior king of the mythical African nation of Wikanda, fighting alongside fellow star Danai Gurira as Okoye and Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia.
The three enter a casino, as they are on a mission to intercept a deal meeting between Klaw (Andy Serkis) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman). It doesn’t go as planned and before you know it, a hand-to-hand fight with the trio and many goons is underway. The scene is particularly well done (even by Marvel standards) and it ends with Panther confronting Klaw, who then shows off his new hand, which turns into cool…
