Seattle Mayor Signs Bill Raising City’s Minimum Wage To 15 Dollars An Hour
Last year, there was a lot of crowing by some in our political world after a study came out that suggested raising the minimum wage in Seattle/Tacoma, Washington, to $15/hr. actually cost jobs. (That $15/hr. figure was implemented over a longer period for those employers providing health insurance.)
Now, those same people have studied the latest data and have concluded … well, something different.
