Weinstein Co. CEO Bob Weinstein is denying that his company is being put up for sale or being shut down amidst the wave of sexual assault claims made against ousted co-chairman Harvey Weinstein.
“Our banks, partners and shareholders are fully supportive of our company and it is untrue that the company or board is exploring a sale or shutdown of the company,” Bob Weinstein said in a statement. Weinstein touts TWC’s upcoming releases, saying the company still plans to release Polaroid, Paddington 2 and the Robert De Niro comedy War with Grandpa on their previously announced dates.
