Microsoft today added new AI-powered data types to Excel (currently in beta) to give customers a way to access extensive information about companies and places.
Stocks and Geography data types allow users to pull information from the Microsoft Knowledge Graph by simply referencing the entities by name.For example, customers could write out a list of cities, press the Geography button, and see those names associated with all of the data Microsoft has available on the location inside Excel, without changing apps.
